Liu Junjie is a dying genius who is ready to do everything he can to stop his suffering. He has the brain of a mastermind but the tact of a monkey.  He can maneuveur a countably infinite sequence of operations using only his mind. He is a citizen of the Slums of Caihong City and lives off the petty bargaining he does at Renmin Square, one of the few places that he can access by wheelchair. 

 

After a traumatic childhood experience, Liu Junjie was left with no kidneys and forced to survive on a dialysis machine of his own design. His only chance at real medical care is to be granted access into Furui City, the sheltered utopia under the glass dome. As a citizen of the Slums, Liu Junjie can only enter Furui City if he completes a Supertask. 

 

When Furui City commissiones a second Supertask, Liu Junjie answers their challenge. His Supertask is to create a perfect virtual replica of Caihong City. His proposal is accepted by Furui City and he has to present it before the Committee in seven days. However, there is one last piece of the puzzle to Liu Junjie's Supertask: a glitch that he is unable to solve...
