A dangerous gang leader prior to the Mercury Spill, Lebrac is now a pensive and hard working locksmith. His family used to own the powerful Clocktower Industries of Sektor Ciel and his life was, for a while, full of carelessness and play. Well fed and blessed with a seductive nature, Lebrac had countless boyfriends and girlfriends throughout his younger years. But along with the Mercury Spill came the destruction of his family's business, and the dawn of a new era of hunger, pain and disease. Left homeless and enranged, Lebrac joined the gang of the New Pookies and engaged in thievery, rape and looting. Eventually falling in love with a woman named Maria who beared his two children, he decided to give up his gang stature and try to start a new business to care for his family in the midst of the destruction brought about by the separation of the dome. He became a locksmith knowing that many people back then were looking for shelter in older, abandoned or wretched houses that were still locked after the Spill. 

 

His two boys were 3 and 4 when his wife eventually died of pulmonary inflammation. Soon after Lebrac found Zeghe: a beautiful young orphan roaming around the beaches of Ciel. He offered him shelter, apprenticiship and eventually, love. His boys were murdered 10 years later, and since then Lebrac has become a defeated and gloomy man, spending his time inside the factory, working and cooking. He nurtures a deep hatred for the Furui City utopia, and their promises via the Supertask. After he sent a missive via the Poles to ask for Furui City assistance in finding the culprit for the murder of his two sons, Furui City's dissapointing answer made him start the Radical Anti Furui City movement, a silent protest against the establshment. 

 

Lebrac is considerably well off as keymaking is a profitable business. With time he became more and more hateful of the utopic dream of Furui City citizenship and is weary of everyone that steps foot in his establishment. When, in the middle of the night he hears a loud buzz, he is reluctant to open the door...
