Not much is known about the constant face of the Telescreen known as KENTA-boi. His ubiqutous appearance on the Newscast, the Weather show, on publicity spots and enterntainment shows, as well as instructional videos for various Arcade-ran institutions (like the Brothel or the now defunct Library) shield him in an almost mythical presence.

 

As his disembodied voice yells through the speakerphones whenever Furui City has an announcement to make, his wide and alarmingly sincere smile resonates through the minds of the inhabitants of the Slums. Presumably he has a job, and this job is in Furui City. A somewhat of a mirage for the Caihong City telescreen watchers, present on products ranging from the rejuvenating juice BabyButtSkin, to the baking soda sold sometimes at intersecting borders but advertised profusely, to Sertra-X advertising holograms, and devices like the serotonin controller from the Picture Palace, KENTA-boi is a twodimensional fata morgana engraved in the consciousness of all slummers, to the point where they don't notice it anymore.
